The Pop Star Plays a Dark Alter Ego of Herself in Mockumentary Teaser
The celebrated musician is getting ready for a significant big screen appearance in 2026, starting with the satirical film titled The Moment.
In the film, the artist embodies what she calls as a twisted version of herself.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music business that I’ve ever encountered, the star remarked.
She clarified in a conversation: It’s not a tour documentary, but the idea originated from the demand to create one.
A Glimpse into The Moment
The initial preview, launched on recently, mixes authentic footage from her live performances with imagined behind-the-scenes moments.
The Moment is directed and co-written by the director, who revealed that the narrative centers on a world where the artist took completely different paths in the publicity of her smash hit album Brat.

A Hectic Acting Schedule
The film is a single one of numerous upcoming movie projects for Charli, who has appeared in three festival films in the current year.

She recently joined to star in the star’s maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.

Soundtrack Involvement
Next February will also include the launch of the director’s version of Wuthering Heights, which will include original songs from the artist.
Additionally, she will provide music for the film Mother Mary, with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, set to be released in the coming year.
The mockumentary will be released on 30 January.
